Rooted For You is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to uplifting and encouraging seniors and youth. Our mission includes supporting mental well-being, provide essential resources, and create opportunities for growth.
Rooted was founded in 2020 at the height of the pandemic after recognizing the neglect many seniors faced in senior living homes. We saw a need to provide companionship, joy, and essential care through thoughtfully curated care packages. Our commitment extends beyond seniors to the youth in our community—helping them build a brighter future by equipping them with life skills, mentorship, and support systems.
Our long-term goal is to establish a cybercafé offering career guidance and small business workshops. We will also collaborate with other leaders, businesses, & schools in the community to host life skills workshops. With your support, we can turn this vision into a reality!
Through our mentoring program, we help students in underserved areas gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive in the real world—whether they pursue higher education or a trade. We create a safe space for students to explore their potential, develop social skills, and prepare for their future with confidence and purpose.
